BTS Early Career Investigator Award 2023!

The lab is truly delighted to announce that Ollie Pitts received 'Highly Commended' for the Early Career Investigator Awards, which was presented in the Churchill room of the QEII centre during the British Thoracic Society 2023 Winter Meeting. Ollie was recognised for his excellent abstrast and presentation entitled, ''The respiratory mycobiome is perturbed during viral infection in COPD and drives type 2 immunopathology and exacerbation severity''.

Thankfully, our very own PhD student Millie Jackson was able to get a couple of dashing photos of Ollie from the awards ceremony! Congratulations Ollie!
