Millie joined the Singanayagam lab in July 2022 as a Research Technician, before commencing her PhD with the group. Her research focuses on microbial dysbiosis in pulmonary immune responses. Millie is a 2020 graduate of Cardiff University with a First Class Honours in BSc Biomedical Sciences. After graduating, Millie worked as a supervisor at a laboratory performing next generation sequencing for infectious disease profiling and oncology profiling of patient tumours. 

 

Following her interest in respiratory disease immunology, Millie is currently working with collaborators on PROSAIC-19, a longitudinal study in a post-COVID-19 infected cohort.
