Orestis Katsoulis

Orestis has been a research technician at the Singanayagam lab since September 2022. He has a first class BSc degree in Biomedical Sciences from Newcastle University, where he was awarded the Top Project Award by the Royal Society of Biology. He subsequently earned his Immunology MSc degree with distinction from Imperial College London. He has previously worked as a research technician at the Biomedical Science Research Centre (BSRC) ‘Alexander Fleming’. His research interests include the lung microbiota, neutrophil extracellular traps, and the immunopathology of respiratory diseases.

Orestis is currently leading a project looking at the role of neutrophil extracellular traps in respiratory disease.
